Sometimes it can seem like the very nature of having a sentient mind is that we are cursed to never be able to stop thinking. From the moment we get up, to the moment we go to bed, to hours laying in said bed, we just keep on having our stupid little thoughts. Most of them we probably end up forgetting, and many also don't amount to that much anyway. The idea that we only use a tiny piece of our brainpower seems wrong when we have the sheer amount of ideas we have each day, however stupid or repetitive they may be. This is part of the reason that memes are so seductive, because they take up some of that not-so-precious space in our brains with something more amusing than the usual claptrap. It's nice to know that there are plenty of people on the internet who make our own inner voice seem less deranged.
